Begin February With AMIT’s Monte Carlo Night

(Courtesy of AMIT) AMIT’s annual Monte Carlo Night returns to Teaneck on February 1, at which time folks can try their luck at fun games, including blackjack, poker and roulette, and take part in a silent auction on Judaica and a raffle for some great prizes.

Proceeds from the event, organized by the Hindy Weinstock/Geula Chapter of Greater Teaneck, will go to support AMIT’s network of 108 schools and youth villages in Israel. AMIT, named the #1 educational network in Israel, offers children from diverse religious and socioeconomic backgrounds equal access to a cutting-edge, Jewish values-based education.

“Last year’s Monte Carlo Night was a huge success,” said Chana Shields, event co-chair. “Everyone who came enjoyed a terrific night. We hope that this year’s event will be even better and look forward to an evening of great food, fun casino games and fabulous prizes, with a goal of supporting the more than 37,000 children that are part of the AMIT network in Israel.”

AMIT’s Monte Carlo Night again will be hosted by Annie and Yale Baron. “We are so pleased to be hosting this event again this year,” said Annie Baron. “My family and I got to see firsthand the life-changing impact that AMIT has on its children during our visit to Frisch Beit Hayeled, and we are looking forward to another exciting event in support of its mission.”

AMIT’s mission is to level the playing field for disadvantaged students on Israel’s periphery who may lack the opportunities of their peers so they can create bright futures and become leaders in the state. About 70% of its students come from the geographic or socioeconomic periphery. Through its Jewish values-based schools that offer the best in 21st-century education, AMIT has become a model for success in helping these students achieve their dreams.

Couvert for the event is $90 per person or $180 per couple. Sponsorship opportunities are available. There is also special pricing for those 35 and under who want to attend: $100 per couple or $50 per person.

Founded in 1925, AMIT is the #1 education network in Israel, serving 37,000 students in 108 schools in 33 cities throughout Israel. AMIT enables students to realize their full potential and strengthens Israeli society by educating and nurturing children from diverse backgrounds within a framework of academic excellence, Jewish values and Zionist ideals.
