The Beit Medrash Govoha for Medical Halacha invites you to a special evening in New York, “Spiritual Growth While Working in Medicine” on Sunday, December 19. Featured speakers include: Dr. Michael Zelefsky, vice chair, Department of Radiation Oncology, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center; Rabbi Yossi Sprung, rosh Beit Medrash Govoha for Medical Halacha; Dr. Edward Reichman, professor of emergency medicine and bioethics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine; and Dr. Judah Weinberger, M.D. (Harvard Medical School), Ph.D. (Harvard University) dean of NYSCAS, a division of Touro College.
Exclusive presentations will include the launch of the Medical Halacha Chabura Series, a global initiative for learning the main sugyos and halachic questions that every medical professional should know.
The Beit Medrash Govoha for Medical Halacha—founded by Rabbi Dovid Fuld and Rabbi Yossi Sprung—is hosting this event together with the Jewish Physicians Network and Touro College. The event is free of charge and will include a light
