On October 7, BPY students and staff came together in solemn remembrance, united with the global Jewish family to honor our heroes and reflect on their sacrifices, and to express and experience solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Israel. EC students created heartfelt cards for the chayalim in Israel, expressing their love and support. After singing some stirring songs, ES students engaged in a meaningful letter-writing campaign, and participated in a tefillah for the safety of the IDF and hostages. Middle schoolers took part in a livestream siyum Mishnayot to honor the fallen and engaged in discussions led by world renowned rabbis, after which they reflected on the bravery of our soldiers. Let us all come together in prayer for the release of hostages, the safety of our chayalim, and for lasting peace in Israel.
