On Wednesday, May 24, Ben Porat Yosef began its Yom Yerushalayim celebration with a festive tefillah and Hallel, in which the entire school participated. After tefillah, the students and teachers headed outside for a parade and dancing. The students had been learning about the Old City’s walls and their corresponding gates in class, during the past week, and created beautiful representations of the gates to help add some artistic flair to the outdoor parade. The special morning was filled with ruach and a love for Israel.
