BPY early childhood has been having so much fun acting out the Chanukah story in the Imagination Station. They made sevivon spin art by spinning the sevivon with paint. They also made chanukiot to bring home to light with families. Throughout the week, the students explored various chanukiot around the classroom. They know that a chanukiah must have eight individual places for each night, as well as a special designated, higher spot for the shamash. On each night of Chanukah, we add a candle, to represent how we are going up in holiness and not down.
