Ben Porat Yosef fifth grade students left on Monday, May 23 to attend an overnight program at the Greenkill Outdoor Education Center. The students participated in team building activities and sports. They began their second day with an outdoor tefillah, breakfast and then sessions about water ecology and Native Americans. They cooked over a campfire to prepare their lunch and hiked in the woods for a long afternoon activity. The trip provided valuable grade bonding and learning in a beautiful setting.
