Ben Porat Yosef junior high students spent December 31 engaged in an in depth and wide-ranging study of color, as part of a Discovery Learning Day experience. They experimented with prisms, tested for and experienced color-blindness with the help of technology, conducted their own Stroop effect tests, dissected a sheep eyeball, conducted a chromatography lab, delved into the impact of color on mood and its use in marketing, and more. They even made their own t’cheilet dye from the Murex Trunculous snail.
