(Courtesy of Chaverim of BC) Early last Friday morning, Chaverim of Bergen County received a call for assistance from a Kiryas Joel ambulance whose tire was destroyed by road debris. Multiple Chaverim volunteers responded and were on-site for over four hours as they strategized how to remove the damaged tire and get it back into service. By late morning, the tire was removed and replaced and the ambulance went back into service with a lot of time before Shabbos to spare.
