This past September saw the start of the new –NFL sponsored Bergen County Flag Football League for all kids in Bergen County grades K-8. This incredible, exciting new league got off to a fantastic start.

As a co-sponsor of the league, the Parisi Speed School of Bergen County provided two weeks of combines and solid football fundamentals, helping prepare the boys for the upcoming season. The facilities at Overpeck County Park, where all of the games took place every Sunday, were state-of-the-art and among the finest anywhere. Each grade had several teams, each named after an NFL team with the kids wearing distinct NFL jerseys replicating the NFL team they were named after. Parents made up the volunteer coaches, helping enrich the experience for the kids.
