(BCFL) After an exciting opening week, the commissioners of the Bergen County Football League treated the league to a once in a lifetime experience—to play ball on the same field as their favorite pros—as we took over MetLife Stadium. The games were great, the sportsmanship was phenomenal and for the most part the weather cooperated. There was a little rain but as BCFL Co-commissioner Steve Gutlove told The Jewish Link, “Who doesn’t love football in the rain?” Although it was unplanned, all of the players at Metlife Stadium received BCFL towels, great for the beach, camp or drying off after playing football in the rain at Metlife Stadium.
The boys will be back in action this coming Sunday at the state of the art Vince Lombardi Football Field in Palisades Park 12-3 p.m.
