This past Sunday, students and parents at the Bergen County High School of Jewish Studies celebrated Yom Ha’atzmaut with a program on Israeli Air Force Innovation. Amos Nachum, Israeli Air Force veteran and current advanced systems analyst for the government of Israel, shared his insight into the innovations that drive the Israel Air Force’s success, including the use of the Iron Dome. After the program everyone enjoyed a blue and white cake to celebrate Israel’s independence.
