I am writing to ask for your ongoing support for the community of Kerem Shalom, whose members will be visiting Bergen County this weekend. The partnership between Bergen County and Kerem Shalom reflects the achdut of the entire Jewish people during this most challenging time.
The return to Kerem Shalom is a testament to our independence and unity. Despite the attempts to physically remove us from our land and the pain inflicted upon us, the Eternal People remain resolute, returning with strength to the very place where Jews were killed.
Kerem Shalom symbolizes the unity of our people, where religious and secular individuals lived in cooperation and harmony even before the war. In the aftermath of the attack, this cooperation, connection and unity have only grown stronger.
By helping Kerem Shalom to rebuild and return, we fortify our national independence and strengthen the bonds that unite us as one people.
