BFL, which began last year for seventh through 11th graders, started with six teams in the fall and grew to eight in the spring. That growth led to the expansion of the league this year on Sundays. The league will have a fun and enjoyable atmosphere, with positive coaching and encouragement coming from the coaches and its commissioners. Rabbi Jonathan Kessel and Rav Yitz Rabovsky will be handpicking coaches and refs from local high schools to ensure only the highest quality of role models. This league is designed for kids to better their skills, but also expand them socially, as the teams will be made of mixed schools, not individual schools. Registration opened just last week and kids are already signed up from seven different schools. All players will get customized jerseys with their names on back. See you on the field!
