Bergen Networking Group Chooses Shearit HaPlate

Teaneck—Bergen Networking Group (BNG) President Fernando Sosa presented Joshua Klavan, President of Shearit HaPlate of Bergen County, Inc. (SHPBC) with the Networking Group’s financial contribution in support of SHPBC.

“On behalf of SHPBC, I want to express my deep gratitude to the members of the Bergen Networking Group for their very generous donation and recognition of our organization. We applaud the BNG for recognizing the need to provide networking opportunities for our local businesses and at the same time focus more broadly on the greater community and its needs. With BNG’s assistance, SHPBC will be able to continue to provide food rescued from within our community to those in need in a respectful manner without compromising on these individuals’ privacy and self-esteem. Our mission to promote an awareness of food abundance and its waste within our society is greatly enhanced today because of BNG.”

Bergen Networking Group started in 2005, and prides itself on its individuals’ dedication to the group and to one another. The BNG gives members opportunities to build strategic partnerships, new business opportunities, and learn from others’ experiences in a friendly and professional atmosphere. This makes for better networking, and places members in a better position to assist visitors who perhaps seek valuable, reliable, and dependable resources for their own businesses. Mr. Sosa added that “Members also realize that in addition to the responsibility they have for one another, there is a need to connect with the community.”

The Bergen Networking Group currently meets most Thursdays at 7:30 a.m. at the law offices of Michael Baer, LLC, 412 Cedar Lane, Teaneck. Visit www.BergenNetworkingGroup.com or e-mail [email protected].
