Rabbi Hershel Schachter, Shlita, to Speak at B’nai Yeshurun

Congregation B’nai Yeshurun, located at 641 W. Englewood Ave. in Teaneck, will host Rabbi Hershel Schachter, Rosh Yeshiva, Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary of Yeshiva University, on September 20, at 8:45 p.m. Rabbi Schachter is scheduled to speak on the topic of The Future of Modern Orthodoxy. His talk will be preceded by a dvar Torah delivered by his YU colleague, Rabbi Mayer Twersky, on Aspiration and Ascent in Avodas Hashem, at 8 p.m. The event is sponsored by Torahweb.org.

Israeli Justice Minister to Speak at YU Museum

Israel’s Justice Minister, Ayelet Shaked, will speak on social and economic justice Wednesday, September 30, at Yeshiva University Museum, located at 15 W. 16th St, New York, NY. Her talk will take inspiration from the exhibition “Field of Dreams: Living Shemitah in the Modern World,” running through January 3.
