On Tisha B’Av afternoon, Sunday, August 14, at 4 p.m., the Cong. Rinat Yisrael Adult Education will be showing two films from Torah Umesorah’s Rabbi Leib Geliebter Memorial Foundation about the Jewish experience during and after the Holocaust

The first, Strike on Heaven (35 mins.) recounts the story of the Third Reich’s war on Yiddishkeit, while Sh’eiris Hapleitah (42 mins.) details the experiences of the survivors in the immediate aftermath of the war as they set about rebuilding their lives and families.
