Hundreds showed up to celebrate with a l’chaim and to tour and shop at the new Phase 1 expansion at Grand & Essex last Thursday night, Dec. 23. The store served all kinds of kugels, cholent, salad and wine from The Vineyard next door, while showcasing the wider aisles, a brand-new takeout area, a new sushi area and much more. The store also brought in a local band to play music. The lively and festive atmosphere, along with the expanded store, met with a very positive reception.
