Rabbi Michael Ross will lead an Excel workshop at Congregation Beth Aaron on Sunday, October 14 at 10 am. The workshop is entitled “Dealing with Your Loans (Mortgages, Credit Cards, etc.): Using Excel to Determine Where Your Money Is Going.”

Michael Ross and has been teaching Microsoft office applications since the days of Excel 2.0. He has taught every level from high school through graduate level databases. Some of his students have gone on to pass Microsoft Office® Certification exams.
He brings a wealth of practical business experience to the classroom, and many of the examples he uses are taken from real-life situations. His classes are designed to provide skill sets which can be applied to the various situations which his students are likely to encounter. Many of his
students have gotten jobs partially because of the Microsoft Office® skills he has taught, and his corporate clients have used his services to bring their employees up to speed as well as challenge their advanced users.
This introductory class in Microsoft Excel® covers basic concepts. The only prerequisite is a working knowledge of computers and the Microsoft Windows® environment. He will cover such topics as: Formulas and Functions, Copying cell content, The additional features of the Autofill
Handle, Relative and Absolute referencing, and Semi-Absolute Referencing.
