(BGFF) This past Sunday under hazy skies due to the ongoing fires in our area, Bergen County Girls Flag Football League completed the first round of playoffs. Championship Sunday will be this Sunday at Johnson Park in Hackensack, beginning at 3 pm.

The #1 seed Bears and #3 seed Falcons advanced to the championship game in the Mt. Royal Construction (6-8) division. The #1 seed Cowboys and the #3 seed Titans will meet in the Team Goffstein (5) Division championship. In the day’s biggest upset, the 2-5 Chiefs upset the 5-2 Cardinals to advance to the Camp Shalom (2-4) division championship game with the #1 seed Seahawks.
