(Courtesy of BCHA) Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy ended May by hosting its annual celebration dinner. At this year’s dinner, we reunited the Bi-Cultural family with this long-awaited in-person event in conjunction with our celebrating the reunification of Jerusalem and marking Memorial Day. During the event, BCHA honored guests of honor Gladys and Greg Teitel; Community Service Award recipients Glenn Karow, Adam Rafalowicz and Six Thirteen Restaurant; Alumni Award recipient Jake Sherman; and Walter Shuchatowitz Award for Excellence in Education recipient Rachel Haron. Celebration dinner co-chairs Lenore and Ilan Fogel and Navah and David Zizmor were key components for the great turnout at this elegant and spirited gathering. Thanks to the remarkable efforts of our journal co-chairs Jodi Hadge, Risa and Steven Raich and Howard Wolfe, the dinner raised substantial funds to help provide a BCHA education to students in Pre-K through 12th grade in our region. This year’s dinner celebrated the diversity of resources that BCHA brings to the many interests of our parent community, –משהו מיוחד לכל , which means “Something Special for Everyone.” (Photo Credits: Ben Folkinshteyn, BCHA parent)
