Stamford’s Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy of Connecticut celebrated Veterans Day in grand fashion with a flag-raising ceremony Friday morning that was attended by the entire student body. In addition, there was an audio tour in the BCHA library with exhibits and activities that focused on honoring veterans. Throughout the day, the students had the opportunity to hear from Rear Admiral Fred S. Golove of the Coast Guard, Bobby Baer of the U.S. Navy, Alan Gerard of the U.S. Army and Alan Sosnowitz of the Air Force as they chatted about their branch of service and answered questions the students had.
