The JV boys’ basketball team defeated Heschel, 44-33, in an important game with division championship ramifications, elevating SAR’s record to 7-0.

Despite falling behind 17-7 midway through the third, the Sting’s comeback spirit never waned and SAR was tied at the half with the Heat, 21-21. In the third quarter, the good times kept rolling as SAR went on a 16-0 blitz to finish the third.  The 30-4 run put the game out of contention in the 4th and SAR held on.

Led by the scoring of Ariel Smith, Rafi Kubersky, Dovie Marcus, and stellar all-around play by all of their teammates, SAR looked its best when it mattered most.
