On Monday, morning April 15, the Beit Medrash of Teaneck and the tenth grade at Heichal HaTorah joined together for a morning of chavruta learning and shiur. Rabbi Dovid Komet shlit”a, renowned mechanech and maggid shiur at Heichal, delivered an engaging and thought-provoking shiur on the topic of reciting Hallel during the Seder. The Heichal students were paired with members of the BMT Kollel to prepare for the shiur. The students were amazed by the depth of knowledge of the kollel members, and they were equally impressed by the enthusiasm and interest shown by the students. A number of students remarked that they enjoyed learning with and from the members of the kollel. Tani Diament, tenth grader, stated; “Learning with the BMT Kollel was quite an enlightening experience! Their life experiences and learning background certainly serve as a model for a growing ben Torah.” After the shiur, the kollel members and students wished each other “gut Yom Tov” and are hoping for another experience to learn together.
