Bnos Aliya Visits Museum Of Jewish Heritage

Upper elementary students visited the Museum of Jewish Heritage’s Escape from Denmark exhibit with their ELA/History&Geography teacher, Morah Blumberg. This exhibition tells the remarkable story of the rescue of Danish Jews during the Holocaust—one of the most effective examples of mass resistance and escape in modern history.

Students engaged with interactive exhibits and watched videos depicting the actual boat rescues, bringing history to life in a powerful way. At the end of the tour, they were shocked to discover that an hour had already passed—it felt much shorter! This visit deepened their understanding of their Holocaust unit and left a lasting impression on their learning.
