Bnos Bais Yaakov Dinner to Honor Rabbi and Mrs. Menachem Friedman

(Courtesy of Bnos Bais Yaakov) On Monday, June 3, Bnos Bais Yaakov will be hosting its annual scholarship dinner honoring Rabbi and Mrs. Menachem Friedman, who will be receiving the Avodas Hakodesh Award. Their daughter, Esti, joined the school last year and is a fitting testament to the wonderful chinuch of her parents.

Rabbi Friedman devotes his life to chinuch and chesed. For the past 17 years he has been a rebbe of grades six, seven, and eight at the Rav Teitz Mesivta Academy in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where he also serves as a guidance counselor for the middle school. Mrs. Friedman shares her husband’s interest in chesed utilizing her expertise as a special education coordinator to find opportunities to help others. An active member of Hatzolah of Lakewood and of Elizabeth, Rabbi Friedman performs the ultimate chesed for the members of his community.

Bnos Bais Yaakov is an institution with a heart that imbues its students with a love of yiddishkeit, a devotion to mitzvos and a fervor for doing chesed. Their fresh, dynamic staff is directed by a gifted and deeply experienced principal who together have infused the school with an elevated spirit.

Bnos Bais Yaakov’s dedication to transmitting a pure chinuch habanos brooks no compromises. At the same time its warm, encouraging and positive rapport with students and parents achieves outstanding results.

Operating a mosad like Bnos Bais Yaakov is no easy task. So many members of the Lakewood community and beyond benefit from Bnos Bais Yaakov and the chinuch it provides al taharas hakodesh, regardless of a family’s ability to pay for the cost of education. Bnos Bais Yaakov’s annual scholarship dinner is crucial to sustaining these efforts.

The dinner honoring Rabbi and Mrs. Friedman will take place at Ateres Reva Hall in Lakewood beginning at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to make a reservation or donation, please visit www.bbylakewood.org or call the school office at 732-905-8050.
