(Courtesy of Bonei Olam) On Thursday May 4, nearly 200 people came together to support the annual Bonei Olam Riverdale/Westchester event to raise money for local couples seeking help with various fertility obstacles. The evening, hosted at the Riverdale Jewish Center, was uniquely geared towards supporting local couples with fertility issues from the Riverdale/Westchester communities. The event’s focus was twofold—to raise awareness about the important work that Bonei Olam does in helping to build Jewish families, as well as to raise money for the local couples working with Bonei Olam for fertility treatment.
Attendees heard two personal stories from couples who had children with Bonei Olam’s help, along with a captivating speech by Rabbi Schlomo Bochner, Bonei Olam’s founder. The night featured delectable delights including artisanal pizza by Aqua e Grano, fresh doughnuts from Party Stem, as well as wine tasting with Skyview Wine & Spirits and sushi from Riverdale Kosher Market, who were also local sponsors. The event featured an amazing raffle with 10 great prize packages. A beautiful, fun and informative night was had by all.
