(Courtesy of Scout Troop 226) Shomer Shabbat Boy Scout Troop 226, chartered to the Jewish Center of Teaneck, held a Court of Honor at Congregation Beth Tefillah of Paramus on Sunday, June 16. Ten of the scouts in the troop received awards, including merit badges and rank advancements.

Troop 226 welcomes boys ages 11 to 17. They meet during the school year at the Jewish Center of Teaneck on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9 p.m., and their program includes hikes and overnight camping trips.
