Boy Scout Troop 226, which meets weekly at the Jewish Center of Teaneck, joined Troop 613 of West Hempstead for an overnight camping trip on Thanksgiving weekend to Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco in Blairstown, New Jersey. We arrived early Friday afternoon and cooked delicious meals for Friday night and Shabbat. After davening on Shabbat morning (we had a minyan and a Torah), we enjoyed cholent and cold cuts for lunch, and then took a short hike. On Motzei Shabbat, the scouts built a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. We concluded the overnight with davening and breakfast on Sunday morning. A great time was had by all!
