Baruch HaShem we live in a community where on a daily basis the children are surrounded by acts of chesed and tzedaka. With this in mind, the BPY Gan Keshet class undertook an amazing tzedaka initiative, raising money to send to Israel to buy toys, games and books for the children of Ofakim. Everyone participated in the Basketball-A-Thon by collecting sponsors for each lap they ran around the little gym and for each ball they successfully tossed into the hoop. Words are so inadequate to express the immense pride felt at the conclusion of this event. Thank you to the parents for partnering in this endeavor and helping teach the children that no one is too young to help and that everyone can make a huge impact by choosing kindness.
