Some highlights of these past two week’s Adar festivities at BPY included the middle schools “anything but a backpack day,” pajama day, wacky hair socks and hat day and Israel day! Adar kicked off with a raffle, already raising hundreds of dollars. BPY has over 40 prizes that elementary and middle school students are extremely excited about the chance to win. On Tuesday evening, fifth grade students read the Megillah. They learned about the many mitzvot of Purim and how to read the Megillah with טעמים, trop. Everyone is excited for the all-school Purim carnival at the end of the week!
