Dear eighth graders, I hope you are doing well.

Since we are not in school and we can’t use cookies and pizza to practice finding the area and circumference of circles, I came up with another plan. I went to each of your houses this morning and left you a message with sidewalk chalk right outside your front doors! Please go outside and find the circumference and area of the two circles I drew, and then add your data to the spreadsheet.

This is also a matching game! See if you can find out the other person in the class who has a circle that is the same circumference and area as your circle that was drawn in pink chalk.
