In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, BPY’s first graders applied what they have learned about Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott as they dramatized the pivotal moment when Parks refused to give up her seat on the bus. Their dramatization included dialogue between Parks and the bus driver, the arresting police officers and Martin Luther King Jr.’s role in the boycott.
