Ben Porat Yosef fourth grade students enthusiastically hosted parents and special guests for an engaging program to mark their study of Navi. The students had prepared models to depict the aspects and qualities of the different shevatim and had them on display for guests to enjoy as part of the event. Their performance included a lively play depicting how the Israelites brought down the walls and conquered Yericho. The students also sang several songs, including the Hatikva, while being accompanied by fourth grade student classmates on the flute and keyboard. A special parent-child learning activity followed, with students and their parents answering several Navi questions. Finally, a celebratory breakfast was enjoyed by all.
