Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

With Pesach around the corner, Gan Shemesh got a true taste of tradition by making matzah from scratch. Each child started with a real wheat stalk, crushed it by hand, and separated the kernels before grinding them into flour. From there, they mixed the flour into dough, rolled it out, poked holes and handed it over to Reb Leizer, who baked it in his special oven. The best part? Finally tasting the crispy, delicious matzah! Now, the children are even more excited to celebrate Pesach and enjoy this special mitzvah with their families.
