BPY’s Gan Simcha has been preparing for Mother’s Day this week. We took turns sharing all the reasons mothers are important; the children came up with so many important things mothers do, like “keep us safe,” “tickle us,” “give us hugs and kisses” and “teach us how to be nice.” To show their hakarat haTov to their mothers for all the amazing things they do, the children in Gan Simcha spent the week creating a special surprise. Using their creativity, artistic vision and fine motor skills, the children created personalized jewelry boxes and necklaces as a Mother’s Day surprise. They also wrote Mother’s Day cards, taking the time to stretch out the sounds and use their inventive spelling skills to write their ideas. Happy Mother’s Day!!
