This past Shabbat, the eighth grade class at BPY had an inspiring and memorable shabbaton at Congregation Ahavath Torah in Englewood. The Shabbat was filled with beautiful tefillah, moving divrei Torah, and spirited songs. The children enjoyed delicious meals catered by Petak Catering, and showed true leadership and responsibility when the students gathered in the kitchen to help set up and serve. They enjoyed special programming from the shlichim families and heard a beautiful sicha from our very own Rav Aviv. Laughter and joy could be heard throughout the entire Shabbat. A special thank you to all the teachers and staff who joined the shabbaton, the host families for housing the students and Ahavath Torah for a beautiful shabbaton! This was definitely a Shabbat to remember!
