Last week, the BPY fourth grade students celebrated their deeper understanding of their history, culture and identity as a culmination of their exploration of these topics at school at its annual Heritage Fair. At the fair, the students had the opportunity to share their own heritage with the other children and their families; through their writing about and presenting an heirloom of importance from their own family and through song and art. The fourth graders put in so much hard work for this successful celebration!
