BPY’s wonderful Torah Bowl team consists of 20 students who enthusiastically learn and participate in the competitions. The Torah Bowl gives the students the opportunity to learn not just the pshat, but also the deeper meanings and insights ascribed to the content and stories of the parshiot. It is heartwarming and exciting to witness the students’ love of Torah translate into their Torah Bowl accomplishments and to see the students’ progression from week to week. More so, it is fitting that the students are translating the midot of our forefathers learned in Sefer Bereishit to their conduct in the Torah Bowl.

BPY had the honor of hosting the Torah Bowl competition this past week. The students excitedly showcased their knowledge and as a result advanced to the playoffs. The students’ performance is a testament to their and their teachers’ hard work and dedication, spending many evenings together deep in Torah study. It is rewarding to see their work translating into results!
