BPY Joins Together for Shabbat Inn

The BPY sixth and seventh grade Shabbat Inn was a truly special and memorable day! Both grades came together, dressed in their Shabbat best, to celebrate a day filled with learning, unity, and fun.

The theme of the day centered around the meaning of Birkat Kohanim (the Priestly Blessing). They explored how a Kohen must bless the congregation with a full heart and love for everyone—an idea that guided the activities throughout the day. Students participated in games designed to build deeper friendships, created a circle of compliments, and prepared beautifully themed candy trays focused on ahava (love) and shalom (peace).

The day was packed with engaging activities like Candy Wars, board games, a special tisch, and more—many led by the incredible Bnot Sherut and devoted teachers. They shared a delicious catered Shabbat lunch, enjoyed heartfelt divrei Torah from students, sang uplifting songs, and ended with a lively cup-stacking game.

The sense of togetherness and ruach was palpable. It was a Shabbat experience the students won’t soon forget!
