BPY fifth graders learned how to research, take notes, write informational and narrative pieces of writing, all while using the writing process with a focus on the writing mechanics. After completing the intense research on explorers and creating an explorer portfolio and artistic depictions that highlight aspects of their research, the fifth graders proudly shared their research with the fourth graders. As the fourth graders visited the fifth grade explorer museum, they took notes on what they learned and shared their compliments.
