BPY middle school students and teachers jump at any opportunity to spend time together outside of the classroom and the daily routine. This past Motzei Shabbat, the entire MS, students and staff, got together in the BPY courtyard for a fun-filled melave malka celebrating Rosh Chodesh Adar Bet.
The evening began with a beautiful Havdala led by Rav Aviv and Rav Ido. Students were then divided into three groups according to grade and rotated between three different activities; pita making, a Purim “Coke and Pepsi” game and S’mores making. Everyone enjoyed hanging out around the warm bonfires. Lastly, the night ended with an inspiring and moving kumzitz led by guest guitarist Aryeh Tiefenbrunn. As staff and students sang together, arm in arm, the warm feeling of the BPY family was ever present. All in all, it was an evening filled with laughter and friendship, bonding within grades and within the MS as a whole and finally a time to just relax and have fun with teachers in a warm and fun atmosphere.
