What a week to be a BPY middle school student! Sixth graders visited Ring Homestead Camp, an outdoor adventure park. Their day centered around teamwork. Working together and sharing words of encouragement helped strengthen the group as they moved throughout all of the activities. The seventh graders had an educational and fun end of year trip to Philadelphia. They rode horse and buggy carriages where the tour guide shared so many fun facts about Philly’s history. Did you know that in the late 1600s kitchens were located underneath the houses through trap doors, in case of fire? The eighth graders celebrated their graduation by visiting Washington D.C., stopping at the Holocaust Museum, kayaking in Chesapeake bay and enjoying many other fun filled activities. With the end of the school year approaching quickly, students enjoyed having the time and space to strengthen friendships and make lasting memories together.
