At BPY, the students live the Torah and its history while engaging with and feeling the connection to Am Yisrael and Torat Yisrael! Before Pesach, elementary school students had the chance to physically experience Yetziat Mitzrayim and “crossing” Yam Suf. The students crossed the Yam Suf in traditional biblical costumes or head coverings that depicted that time period, played instruments like bnot Yisrael, and sang “Az Yashir.” In leading the students across the Yam Suf, Rav Yoav played the role of Moshe Rabeinu and Rav Netanel was Nachshon ben Aminadav.
