Ben Porat Yosef seventh grade students engaged in a rigorous study of the elements of the periodic table, with each student adopting an element to research. As a part of this science unit, the student was assigned to create a superhero based on information about the element. The students also created costumes that embodied the special properties of the element which they researched, offering an experiential and interesting way to learn this subject.
