BPY early childhood friends had an amazing time learning how to make matzah! Led by dear friend, Rabbi Moshe Grossbaum, the children learned about the whole process of matzah baking from start to finish. They separated the kernels, ground the wheat, mixed the flour and water, kneaded the dough, rolled the dough, punched holes in the dough and finally baked their matzah in a special oven. Did you know that in order to be kosher for Pesach, the whole process has to be complete in 18 minutes or less? What an amazing experience…even for friends on Zoom. They especially loved their super cool matzah baking hats!
