This past week the BPY elementary school students packed 300 beautiful Chanukah gifts to bring joy to the children of Ofakim, a town in the south of Israel that BPY has adopted due to the war. There is currently no school in Ofakim so when the children had the opportunity to visit their classrooms and receive heartwarming gifts from friends and family at BPY, it was really a moment the children would never forget. Dr. Hadar and Morah Odelya’s sisters were able to meet and distribute these wonderful treats and the children were so thankful for everything they received. The Ofakim students then wrote thank you notes to the students of BPY. How gratifying for the BPY elementary school students to see the smiles of the recipients of their chesed! BPY wishes the families of Ofakim a Chanukah miracle of regular days and peace!
