BPY Students Nourished by Final Tzeydah Laderech

On Monday, June 7, for the final Tzeydah Laderech program for BPY eighth graders, Rabbi Binyamin Krohn of the Young Israel of Teaneck spoke with students about tefillah. He engaged them with a discussion about how tefillah can be personal and meaningful to them both in times of sadness and happiness, and helped them understand how to develop their ability to speak with Hashem through tefillah.

The week prior, Rebbetzin Chana Reichman of the East Hill Synagogue addressed the students about the meaning and importance of tzniut, explaining the concepts and feelings behind modesty in dress, behavior and language. She conveyed to the students that they are like diamonds, and that their presentation to the world should reflect their true inner beauty and value.
