Last week, Ben Porat Yosef third graders snacked on kale—after checking for bugs and making a beautiful bracha—that BPY students had themselves planted in the school’s garden. Then, they explored the garden to learn about everything that is currently growing. After their tour of the garden, the third graders planted carrots.
