On Tuesday, May 1st, Ben Porat Yosef third grade students received a visit from Mr. Ira Miller, longtime educator and current Director of Mentoring and Academic Advisement at Yeshivat Frisch (and a BPY grandparent as well). The grade had just finished studying poetry, and Mr. Miller spoke to the students about imagery, tone and emotion found within poems, focusing on some famous examples like Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll.
