In the first murder in Teaneck in multiple years, 26-year-old Naomi Hagley was shot and killed by her twin brother on August 15 at approximately 8:25 am. The murder took place in the victim’s residence on Hickory Street. After a short manhunt, the perpetrator was arrested by Bogota PD on James Street and is now in custody. The victim was transported to Holy Name Hospital, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and Teaneck PD are investigating the incident and are on the scene, alongside officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department and Bogota PD officers.
